About the Job
Lahey Health is seeking a Manager to represent the Information Technology and Human Resources functions in the maintenance and ongoing implementation of modules of the PeopleSoft (Oracle) HR Management System. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing the production HRMS to most efficiently process additions and changes to electronic employee records.
The Manager recommends process improvements to better utilize staff and software in the administration of HR, Benefits, Compensation and Payroll functions while considering the best strategic interests of the HR Department and the institution, and, works closely with Finance and Information Technology. Manages the HRIS team by providing supervision for resources assigned to HRIS activities and direction to other HR colleagues on a project-by-project basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the employee master file data and procedures to ensure that required information is accurately and securely maintained.
Recommends process improvements to better utilize staff and software in the administration of HR, Benefits, Compensation and Payroll functions while considering the best strategic interests of the HR Department and the institution.
Serves as user liaison internally, with Information Services, Human Resources and Payroll, while fulfilling the role of IT technical liaison externally with PeopleSoft and other vendors.
Writes, approves and/or reviews specifications to revise PeopleSoft and administrative procedures to maximize data integrity and minimize data entry requirements.
Participates in a variety of business process reengineering efforts, such as Joint Commission (JCAHO) Mandatory Education Tracking and PPD Testing Programs to make the best use of Lahey resources.
Participates in the budget process by providing the annual budget file, by researching labor distribution records, analyzing department needs, and initiating update HR department staff hardware and software tools in coordination with the IS department.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors of Science in Business Administration / Finance with an emphasis in computer science.
3+ years of experience with the PeopleSoft (Oracle) HCM product and its applications.
5+ years of progressive experience with mainframe and PC based software, specifically supporting the HR/Payroll environment and experience with all human resources functions.
Strong staff supervisory/management skills.
Demonstrated ability to design, architect, facilitate, manage and market large scale, large budget, multi-faceted, complex projects.
